UNION IN NORDEA
Union in Nordea is the transnational cooperation structure of the national Nordea Unions of Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Poland.
Union in Nordea represents a large number of union members from the five countries. It was established in order to meet the management of Nordea transnationally, according to the structure of employee involvement and co-decision in the organisation. Union in Nordea represents the national union members in several management bodies, i.e. Nordea Board, Group Council and the eight various Consultative Committees.
Nordea Union Board
Transnational subjects are discussed and decisions are made in the board of Union in Nordea called Nordea Union Board (NUB), where representatives from the five national boards meet monthly either physically or in telephone meetings.
NUB has 13 members. The four Nordic countries each have three representatives involved and Poland has one representative. Each country has two deputies as well. It is the aim of NUB that the board members represent all transnational union members and reach a joint position of NUB at the board meeting.
